We drove to Salt Lake City to take the kids to their dad's for the Holiday. The trip was not so great. Our sturdy steed broke down an hour outside of Salt Lake, in a blinding snow storm. We are forever grateful for the caring family that rescued us, and all our stuff. We left the truck and kids in Salt Lake and went back home in a borrowed van. During our one day stay we did manage to gather alot of friends and family for dinner and a few drinks. It really was great seeing all of them again. For a few moments while we were visiting the stress and worry seemed to have been lifted. We made the best of our Christmas morning without the kids, and with the stress of fixing the truck. This is what our Christmas morning looked like. Absolutly gorgeous!!!!
Before the kids left we opened a few presents, for them to take on their trip. When they got home the next week (with the truck), we had a full Christmas, with stockings and all. Even though it was our most rushed and stressful Christmas, it turned out great.
